• Training data: videos, performance metrics, drill completions, progress records
• Community content: posts, comments, direct messages
• Payment information: processed securely via Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Device & usage data: IP address, device model, OS version, app usage patterns
• Parental data: for users under 13, parent/guardian contact details
• Security & IP forensic data: IP addresses and access logs retained to protect the intellectual property of OktoPeople OÜ and to detect, prevent, and investigate unauthorized content redistribution or fraudulent activity

• To connect you with coaches and track your progress

• With coaches you explicitly connect with on the platform

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

HoopJourney is available to users of all ages. For users under 13 years of age, we require verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at privacy@hoopjourney.app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:

• Via the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account

• Online: hoopjourney.app/AccountDeletion

All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take all reasonable precautions.
